BLUENOSE B: Forever Passing Trains 12"

There seems to be an endless supply of long-forgotten UK bands who are rediscovered on music blogs these days. I don't know what made the UK such fertile ground for great new wave, indie, and post punk music. Bluenose B are one of those bands that fall somewhere in between indiepop, goth, and new wave, with big, BIG guitars and somewhat dark vocals. The song Forever Passing Trains is features loud, driving guitars and loud, pounding drums, and loud, perfectly gloomy singing, and is, well... LOUD. Burning Up is quite a good track as well, and a bit more melodic. This band released this EP and another EP called My Diary (does anyone have this???), and I think they released a song on a regional UK comp as well. It's time they get rediscovered... download this gem and enjoy!

I'll give you what I have but i am not that competent at blogging [just signed up] so let me know how to leave you them and I will alternatively go to www.myspace.com/smileyfox and download from there. there is currently a song called my diary and my beautiful city which are taken from the 2nd EP. fine rain a compilation track is there as well. i am in the process of converting the rest of the vinyl and tapes I have so I will upload them shortly. when i have a little more time i'll tell you why there were so many great bands at this time [especially from liverpool] the title of that bleak story will be the Tyrant Queen called Thatcher.

And yes, Bewildered King, I would love to listen to the rest, too. Couldn't you just upload to Mediafire or Rapidshare and give us the link?
