First today is this rare release from an Australian post-punk band called Ducks in Formation. There isn't much info on these guys out there, and form what I can tell this is the only record they released. I hear similarities to Echo and the Bunnymen, early Church, and The Sound. I personally dig all three songs from this forgotten gem.

Great EP. Good singer, really good songs, very enjoyable. To me it seems they did not try to imitate anyone. Thanks!
Well I must say first song is very close sounding to Sad Lovers & Giants songs !
I agree, I did a weekly college radio show in NYC in the early 80's and pushed Darkness Falls a lot since I thought they resembled The Sound back then and our station had a major crush on them but couldn't get much interest and with no followup record as far as I knew slowly pushed the record out of my playlist...too bad... I did think they were from New Zealand though ...but on an Aussie label
It won't work in actual fact, that is exactly what I suppose.
